A 3-day Camp for Female Artists was held at Kerala Lalithakala Akademi at the 
Akademi's Art Gallery at Malappuram. The camp was organized by 
Kerala Lalithakala Akademi, State Youth Welfare Board and
 Nehru Yuvajana Kendra, Malappuram

The Inaugural Session
February 17, 2006

The camp started at 10 a.m. on 17th Feb. 2006. Mr. M. Anilkumar, Youth Coordinator, Near Yuvakendra, Malappuram welcomed the guests. Mr. Yesudasan, Chairman, Kerala Lalithakala Akademi chaired the meeting. Ms. Khamarunnisa Anvar inaugurated the camp. Chairperson. State Women Development Corporation.  The members of the camp were introduced by Mr. R. Gopalakrishnan, Secretary, Kerala Lalithakala Akademi. Ms. C.H. Jameela, Councilar, Malappuram Corporation, Mr. C.P. Valsan Spoke on the occasion and Mr. Dayanandan gave a vote of thanks.

The Concluding Session
February 19, 2006

Mr. A.P. Anilkumar, Hon. Minister for Cultural and Youth Affairs, Govt. of Kerala inaugurated the concluding session of the Camp. Mr. Suresh Koothuparamb, Vicechairman, Kerala Lalithakala Akademi welcomes the guests and Mr. T.T. Antony, IAS, District Collector, Malappuram chaired the meeting. The overall performance of the Camp was evaluated by Mr. R. Gopalakrishnan and Mr. Kiliyamannil Yakoob, Chairman, Malappuram Corporation, Mr. Martin George, Vice chairman, Yuvajana Kshema Board, Mr. Veekshanam Muhammed, Vicechairman, Malappuram Corporation, Mr. K.U. Krishnakumar, Principal, Mural Study Center, Guruvayoor, and Mr. Dayanandan, spoke on the occasion.
